People need to know!
The benefits of the freedom of trade laws are evident: consumers now enjoy far better value for money and the range and quality of products has increased. Yet where gambling is concerned this principle is ignored as Member States are allowed to break the laws that underpin the Union in order to operate protectionist regimes to the detriment of the consumers they are supposed to serve.
Upholding the law for gambling would yield precisely the same benefits - particularly better value for the customer. According to the EGBA (European Gaming and Betting Association), "the average pay-out on a state-owned site is significantly lower than that of the competitive private sector. State-owned sites can be as low as 50-55% pay-out compared to an average of around 95% pay-out on EGBA members' sports and casino sites."

What is Poker?
Choosing your Poker Room is a difficult task!
Poker is not only a game. It's a group of games which contain lot of common elemets beetween them. You can find FOLDING,BETTING,HOLDING,RAISING,CHECKING,BLUFFING and many more. Poker is card money game, and it's more important then it seems. If money wasn't the main reason, poker wouldn't be a test for willpower and skills. It would be a fortune game in which the players would wait for the last FLOP and the best card would win.
The game's point
The "POT" which contains the player's every bet in HAND - winning it, the players receive money. Staking the same amount as the BID is called "HOLD". A player Bids because he thinks that he has the best cards or he wants to make an impression that he is holding a strong card. If he holds a weak hand he acts as if he holds a big(strong)one, then this means he is bluffing. He hopes that his opponents will quit their hopes for their cards ,the money from the pot and they will "FOLD"
There is an old poker saying, which says that: "Holding on to your money is as precious as winning money"
To know when to "FOLD" your dealt losing cards it's as important as knowing when to "RAISE" the "POT".
In Poker, no matter how many cards you receive - every player's dealt card number is different in every poker variation. The five cards best combination is the highest "HAND".
There are two ways to win the "POT"
1.Showing the best card
When all cards and bets are dealt and there are two or more players left in the game everybody put their cards on the table face up. The owner of the best "HAND" wins the game.
Quick tipp: Although it is not so often the Dealer sometimes can missunderstand our cards when flipping them, so it's adviced to minimise the risk and announce our cards.
If you play online the winner hand is rightly rewarded. If you hold every bet until the last flop or you go "ALL-IN" this means you bet all your chips in the "POT" - the game's virtual dealer will automatically give the whole "POT" to the winner hand, and if the winner has "ALL-IN" he will receive the rightfull amount which he is entitled to.
2.When all our opponents FOLD
If no one holds our bet, and they "FOLD" their entitlement to the "POT", we win. When everybody folds it doesn't matter what kind of card we hold, but you can bluff and not show your cards. It doesn't matter if everybody folds, we win.
Bases
The Bases
Depending on the game, the players number can varie from two to ten. In most of the casino games eight players gather, take the 7 Card Stud for example, on the Hi/Lo Stud. In Texas Hold'em or Omaha they usually play 9 or 10. In casinos according to poker standards, they use a 52 card deck. In Lowball and Card changing poker they use Jokers on "Bugs". This is no a free card as they usually consider it, it doesn't subtitute any other card. The "Bug" can be used as a completion for a Flush or a plus Ace in the card changing poker. In Lowball they use it as the lowest card which doesn't make a pair with our other cards. For example: 8-7-5-A-Joker is the same as 8-7-5-A-2, because the 2 is the lowest card which doesn't make a pair with an other card. Because it's very hard to use different money bills, they use chips to place bets. To make differences between the chips so that they know which is which and how much it's worth they coloured them and they use different coloures, and this way is easier then with money.
Chips make easier controling the pots. In most of american casinos they are using money, in some cases they only use 100 Dollar bills and they convert them to chips. In other casinos you have to buy the chips before you start the game. For safety reason they mark the chips and the colouring is based on an old legacy. In Las Vegas the one dollar chips are white, the five dollar ones are red, the twentyfive dollar chip is green, the one hundred dollar chip is black, magenta or lavender. In California-based on the tables counted- is the center of the pokerworld, the colours are different and they varie from region to region. In the online casinos they use virtual chips, not real ones, but-excluding the play money tables-they are the same as real money.
The Roots
If everybody believes the western movies and thinks that poker is originary from America, they are wrong. Dates take you back to Persia where there were playing a similar poker game. In the XVI. century in Germany there were played a game named "Pochen", it was a bluffing game and there was also a French version called "Poque". The game was brought to New Orleans by the French and it spread incredibilly fast everywhere where the Mississippi ships went. The "Poque" became very fast a game called Poker and they changed some rules-they made it possible for ones card to be changed. The present popular Stud poker is from same period. In our days they play poker wordwide and you can count hundreds of home version. In poker rooms and casinos they U.S.'s biggest regions, England, Ireland, France, Netherland, Austria, Germany, Finland, New Zealand, Aruba, Costa Rica and many other countries they play at home on different waggers, in some cases one hundred thousand dollars.
Choosing your basic strategy
Poker is strategy game and that's what makes it interesting and exciting. This is because if our actions don't have an basic idea in any of the cases, Holding, Betting, Raising, Folding, then the game becames a lotto game. At the card table the knowledge and the strategy decides our faith. The strategy is always based on achieving something, and in the poker case is winning the money, not the Pots!
If the plan is winning the most of the Pots, it's easy. Just play your every card to the bitter end and you will win all Pots, but doing this you will loose a lot of money, i mean all the money. So if you cannot play every Pot, because you can loose all your money, you have to choose carefully the cards which you will play till the end. You don't have to play every game, nobody tells you to do that. The best players in the world are playing just a few hands, but when they play, they play aggressively and when their odds are high they want to maximise their winnings. The point of succesfull poker is simple: everybody can win on a short term but on a long term when the luck and the cards egalizes the better players with their better cards win more money, and the weaker ones holding on to their money loose a smaller stake. It's all about strategy, we can talk a lot about strategy ways, but if we don't want to get lost between the informations, we have to build a point of view, which makes it possible for us to create a structur from every piece of information, every bit of data and every small detail. Without this structure, "we will not see the forest because of the trees".
So what is the point?
Viewing the informations is a good way, if we analyse our moves we usually make. Even if the amount we loose is a small one, we have to make certain that we don't we don't make the same mistake again. If we teach ourselves, we can make a lot of money. The Small Blind is very good example in Texas Hold'em and Omaha, because this happens on every 9th or 10th shuffle. If the dealt hand is a good one or it's a stupid thing to continue, you have to make a choice, because that's the small blind's purpouse. At the end of the game all ads up, every small loss counts.
To Hold or to Fold?
The decisions that costs you, even if they don't happen that often, are all important.
Example: all cards from the flop are on the table and the opponent Raises, and it's a large Pot, we can't decide what to do, Hold or Fold.
This is an important decision and it's important when we stop the excitment. When we think that we or the other players own a higher card it's the same on 60% basis that it usually is. In this case we only look at the cards, not the money.
In reallity you have to look at both, money vs. cards. If you hold it and the other player has the better hand you will loose the initial bet. This wasn't a mistake you made, because if you Fold and maybee you had the better hand, you lost 10-11 maybee bets, then it's a catastrophy. You don't have to Call at your opponent's every Raise, but if you choose to Call on them with a good hand, you really don't make such a big mistake. If a wrong Fold costs you 10 times, the amount as good Call, then that means that Calling can be right choice to make. In this case even if our choice is higher then 10%, we are right, Calling is right.
The right choice
The rightness of our choices can choices can be affected when certain things appear in the game. A certain time for the first choices are always crucial, because if the first choice you make is wrong, that makes it possible for the next choice to be wrong, too. This is why it's important picking you choice, which always begins with your first card. It's more important the the other steps that will follow. If we start with the wrong cards it's very possible that we end up playing them till the end.
In the next flop we can't do anything to save the deal. If we stick to the idea that any card can win, we drive ourself to loosing positions, from which even the world's greatest players can't drive out.
